Employment Liability Insurance My Gf Was The Victim Of Armed Robbery At Her Job In The Parking Lot. Do We Have Grounds To Sue Her Employer?

My gf was the victim of armed robbery at her job in the parking lot. Do we have grounds to sue her employer? - employment liability insurance

Your workplace is a national chain of restaurants. We live in Texas. I think we have grounds to sue on the basis of an emotional trauma, lost wages, the working environment safer and perhaps more. Aware of this Anyone? Moreover, if we reason to complain, what kind of solution that could perhaps be expected? Restaurants tend to have several million dollars of liability insurance per store.

In order to sue - you have to prove negligence. The restaurant did not steal his girlfriend.

You can sue the person who committed the crimes.

Sorry your friend has it ..... stop but ambitious.

He has no claim against the restaurant.

Someone please just to see his girlfriend and she is not dead.

If the store manager was dismissed, then you have a claim against the company. Otherwise, your complaint will be filed against the thief. The restaurant is no guarantee of safety. To win, you must prove that the restaurant is committed to maintaining its security, have been negligent in performing this task, and if he was not negligent, if any. Good luck with that.

I doubt you do, or should be grounds for an action. Companies are not required to hire security personnel for their parking lots. Their color is dishonest and I expect them to lose and have to pay court costs of the restaurant to its time and money.

Check whether a previous offense is well informed and it would be if there is reason enough to validate a security measure.
